This week, we are attending the International EMC Summer School at the Syddansk Universitet - University of Southern Denmark in Sønderborg – with lectures, hands-on insights, and professional exchange focused on electromagnetic compatibility.
Langer EMV-Technik is contributing with the lecture “How to solve EMC immunity and emission problems in practice.” The focus is on practical strategies for addressing immunity and emission challenges – in particular, the use of near-field probes and generators for targeted analysis of electromagnetic interference. Several hands-on demonstrations complement the technical presentation.
Our special thanks go to the University of Southern Denmark and especially to Assoc. Prof. Mohamed Kheir for the excellent organization and well-structured program. The many inspiring conversations, practical insights, and current research approaches make the event thoroughly rewarding for us.

Together with our partner Wavecontrol S.L., Barcelona, we at Langer EMV-Technik GmbH look back on a successful participation at the ESA Workshop on Aerospace EMC, held this year in Seville, Spain. Electromagnetic compatibility - what exactly does it mean and how relevant is it for the manufacture of modern ICs and electronic assemblies? Managing Director Katja Langer of the Bannewitz-based company Langer EMV-Technik GmbH recently discussed these and many other questions with Alexander Dierks (CDU). On May 22, 2024, Saxony's CDU Secretary General visited the family-run medium-sized company in the secluded farmsteads near Nöthnitz Castle and gained an insight into the development of top-class EMC measurement technology. Global tech players such as Amazon, SPACEX, Google and Microsoft use this technology - Saxon ingenuity and meticulousness have long since found their way from Bannewitz-Rosentitz all over the world.
With EMC measurement products that are in high demand, Langer EMV-Technik GmbH has long been a player in Silicon Saxony, Saxony's established technology sector. EMC is also becoming a new priority in the up-and-coming semiconductor industry in and around Dresden. Electronic components in increasingly densely built-up areas must have a higher EMC immunity so that, for example, cars with complex on-board software can function flawlessly. The future and opportunities for the district were highlighted during the company tour: new collaborations with educational institutions are important in order to further develop proven expertise with young engineers from regional universities. World’s leading trade fair and conference for electronics

After 4 years, we were finally back in presence at electronica 2022 in Munich from 15th to 18th of November 2022.
As a high-tech company with over 30 years of experience in EMC research and development, we were very pleased with the lively exchange through the numerous constructive and technical discussions with customers, students and industry colleagues.
These encourage us in our daily work as an EMC service provider and motivate us to constantly expand our product portfolio. Our new products also met with lively interest and were extensively examined:
Direct Power Injection up to 12 GHz becomes efficiently realizable with the DPI-Probe P512.
Measurements of near fields up to 40 GHz at board level can now be performed with the HR-E 40-1 electric field probe and the HR-R 8-1 magnetic field probe.
After four successful days at the trade fair we went back to Dresden with new ideas, exciting questions and interesting problems. We are looking forward to see you at one of the next fairs we will attend in 2023.

As an experienced exhibitor at the EMC tradeshows, the participation from 12 to 14 July 2022 in Cologne was a special highlight for us.

The Langer EMV-Technik booth was extensively equipped with new products and prototypes this year. We presented our 40 GHz E-field probe (HR-E 40-1), a unique new development in the field of near-field probes. In addition, we presented the prototype of our 40 GHz magnetic field probe (HR-R 8-1 available in Q4 2022). We also demonstrated new approaches and research projects in the field of IC technology.

As a provider of solutions in the broad field of EMC, EMC education is as close to our hearts as the development of new EMC products themselves. Therefore, we were particularly pleased about the great response to our technical lecture during the EMC trade fair. Our lecture on the topic "Strategies for the analysis of interference emission problems", which is often suppressed but important for all developers, was very well received. The focus here was on EMC interference emission basics as well as the demonstration of application-oriented and various possible solutions for EMC problems.

We were very happy about the lively exchange through the numerous, constructive and professional discussions with customers, students and industry colleagues.

The day of action "genialsozial - your workforce against poverty" took place for the 15th year and this year more then 30.000 students were involved.
