P1702
RF E-Field Probe

Short description
The P1702 RF E-field probe is used to measure electric near fields, which are coupled out by an IC. The fields couple into the near-field electrode. The generated displacement current generates a voltage drop at the input of the connected spectrum analyzer. This voltage drop is measured by the connected spectrum analyzer.
The RF E-field probe has a 50 ohm RF measuring output, which is connected with an electrode for measuring the electric field. With the help of a distance ring (3 or 10 mm) the RF E-field probe is positioned in a defined distance above the IC.
